El Risco is a small neighborhood located in the municipality of Agaete, about 130 meters above sea level. It is in a wonderful little town on the slopes of Tamadaba and is characterized by their beloved spot: El Charco Azul.

Charco Azul is a pool of fresh water. From El Risco you park your car and you can walk to Charco Azul in 30 minutes following the directions. The path is very simple and beautiful. It is worth going after the rains, because in summer there is hardly any waterfall, although the place is beautiful at all times of the year. Don't forget your swimsuit in case you fancy a swim and something to eat. Although in the town itself there are some bars where you can have lunch and have a drink. You can also visit Playa del Risco, a beach of stones and sand, at low tide, with beautiful views.
