Agaete is one of the points from where you can go up to Tamadaba Natural Park. There are different hiking trails for beginners and some for more experienced people. Tamadaba is a park that does not leave you indifferent due to its beauty, the views and the tranquility that is breathed in it. It is from Agaete where some years one of the most important races that are celebrated at a national level began, Transgrancanaria, in which the island was crossed from north to south.

Tamadaba Natural Park is one of the jewels of Gran Canaria. Considered a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, it is one of the island's parks least altered by the hand of man. Its 7,500 hectares run through the northwest of the island of Gran Canaria.

Those who like hiking and nature cannot miss these native Canarian pine forests and their marvelous cliffs from which wonderful views can be seen.

At Casa Calma, we have guides at your disposal with different hiking routes that can be traveled from Agaete or from San Pedro in the Agaete Valley.
