Juncal is a little-known beach that will surprise you. As it cannot be reached by car, it is a very little crowded beach. It is located between two cliffs and is a pebble beach. At low tide, small spaces of black sand appear. It is a perfect place to practice snorkeling, when there is not a very rough sea, because it is protected. It can be reached on foot from Agaete and is about 30 to 40 minutes from Casa Calma. Ideal to spend a picnic day completely away from people.

 Juncal beach is also nudist and there is no security service. It is possible to arrive by car to the water treatment plant of the Juncal ravine and from there it is a nice walk to the beach of about 15 or 20 minutes.
